Enid Sinclair – Rave’N | Wednesday
Made for : To match my Wednesday dress from the same episode
Background : While I was waiting for the fabric I ordered to make my Wednesday dress with to arrive, I decided to make the matching Enid dress to go with it, just to give me something to do in the meantime.

construction
Dress : I started off with McCall’s M7622 view C as the base for the dress. The first thing I changed was the sleeve length. I raised it up by about 5 inches to accommodate for the fur cuffs that would be added later. I originally cut the skirt length the same as the pattern but after a quick try on, I realised it was much too long. I took another 5-6 inches of the skirt length.
The cuffs, collar and trim were added after the dress was all sewn together. They are 8 inch wide lengths of fur doubled over and cut as long as whatever part of the dress they would be going on. The cuffs and hem trim were first sewn on one edge, folded in half and then overlocked in placed. The collar was sewn along one edge first, folded in half and then hand sewn in place so that the seam where it meets the dress fabric would be incased in itself and invisible.
