I have been SO busy if you couldn’t tell from the lack of updates on this site. Last week finished another Tarot card (which brings my total up to three). It was sorcerer Mickey as, well, The Magician. Seemed only fitting.
I then attempted to finish and shoot five spooky costumes in time for Halloween. I totally didn’t end up editing and finishing up the day of *side eye*. Somehow, I managed to get it done but it left me little time for anything else that week.
Anyway~
Here are the five costumes I wore :
It was really nice being able to knock a couple out of my UFO (unfinished objects) pile. I’m going to try and finish more of that next year. Don’t forget to check out the video too! I’ll eventually get around to writing individual costume posts for each of them.
On Tuesday I began work on this weeks project – making that Pikachu backpack McCall’s pattern that I brought a month ago. It was relatively easy to put together, only thing I found hard were the pieces being so small therefore having a tiny seam allowance. I love how chonky he turned out but I will be making another because I didn’t adjust the length of the child sized straps to fit my adult shoulders.
This week I plan to take things a bit slower. I’m thinking of diving in to my massive duvet hoard and doing a make a dress walkthrough so look forward to seeing that next week!
