construction

If there is one thing I am unashamed to admit that I love, it’s the Star Wars prequels so you can imagine my excitement over the new Obi Wan Kenobi series on Disney + where they’re bringing back two of my all time favourite characters, Obi Wan and Anakin.

In celebration of this, I wanted to make some sort of clothing out of the many duvets in my Star Wars stash. I decided on his duvet because it had three distinct sections that I thought would translate nicely in to skirt panels.

The panels were long rectangles so all I did was sew the twos sides together, adding pockets for snack storage, gathered the waist and added a half elasticated waistband. I chose to do a half elastic waistband so that these skirts could fit multiple sizes.

You can purchase them *HERE*

I’m pretty happy with how they turned out though I do think some of the larger characters get a little lost in the skirt gathers when they’re not in motion. Guess you”l have to constantly twirl whilst wearing them

Difficulty : *
Time : 2 hours per skirt
